Tour Proven: Mateo Fernández de Oliviera Captures Commissionaires Ottawa Open Title with QUAD Tour NonTapered

Ottawa, ON – July 19, 2026 – In a thrilling finish at The Marshes Golf Club, Argentina’s Mateo Fernández de Oliviera was victorious at the Commissionaires Ottawa Open presented by Lépine Apartments, securing his first win on the PGA TOUR Americas. Fernández de Oliviera’s victory was powered by his exceptional putting, wielding the innovative QUAD Tour NonTapered putter throughout the tournament.

The 26-year-old rising star carded a final-round 65, finishing at 23-under-par to outpace a competitive field. Putting played a key role in Oliviera's win, with 1.60 putts per GIR (Green in Regulation) and was first in Birdies for the tournament, proving that when he was on the green he capitalized on opportunities to score.

"Mateo has been a long time user and believer of the QUAD Tour design and we are thrilled to see it be a part of his first PGA Tour Americas win. Congratulations Mateo!," said President and CEO Bernerd Garsen.
