Garsen Golf's Extended Length, Flow Balanced Grips Provide Counter Balanced Feel

Garsen Golf's Extended Length, Flow Balanced Grips Provide Counter Balanced Feel

Since the anchor ban in 2016 golfers both amateur and professional have searched for techniques or products that yield the same benefits of belly putters or chest anchoring made famous by major champions such as Vijay Singh, Angel Cabrera, Webb Simpson, Keegan Bradley and Ernie Els. One of the most popular options has been counterbalanced putter grips where the weight of the putter head is offset or counter balanced by a weight in the putter grip itself. By shifting the weight closer to a players hands it enables you to make a putting stroke in a more fluid and balanced motion for a more consistent stroke.

At Garsen Golf we have several options that, while not exactly the same as counterbalanced putter grips, provide the same overall benefit and improve your overall putting. We call this flow balance. Without the need for added weight our grips perform as a counterbalanced putter grip would. Our Extended line of putter grips gives players the confidence and consistency they need to make the same stroke again and again and ensures they see the same performance benefits, if not more so, than other grips on the market. What sets us apart from out competitors is the unique nature of our QUAD Tour, MAX and ULTIMATE designs.

QUAD Tour

The QUAD Tour 15. Our most popular extended length grip and used by major champion, Lydia Ko on the LPGA Tour. Lydia trusted the QUAD Tour 15 to help her raise the trophy at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open. This 15 inch, non-tapered design features four flat sides and a texture that is both soft and tactile for maximum confidence and control. The QUAD Tour’s design eliminates any potential wrist movement by replacing a traditional rounded profile for a more stabile and structured design.

The QUAD Tour 17 is one of our original extended length grips and continues to be a popular grip option for many players. With its 17 inch length it is an ideal choice for players who prefer an arm lock putting style, where the grip is positioned against the inside of the players lead forearm. This putting style provides a connected and stabile stroke by eliminate the hands and wrists.

The QUAD Tour Pistol PRO 17 is new for 2025 and features a similar experience to the QUAD Tour 15 but with an advanced texture for greater control. With its slightly longer profile, matched with a pistol design players who favor the arm lock putting style will also find this to be a great option for them. While players who simply prefer a longer putter and grip will find that the pistol design makes for a great performing flow balanced experience.

MAX

The MAX 15 takes the design which originally launched with Garsen Golf in 2014 and puts it in a longer, flow balanced design. Another popular choice for players who prefer the MAX design but want a longer overall length. Professional golfer Lauren Walsh is seen using this grip with much success on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and has helped propel her to the top 25 on the Order of Merit for the 2025 season.

ULTIMATE

The Ultimate 17 is another new addition to the Garsen lineup for 2025 and has quickly become one of our most popular extended length grips. The ULTIMATE design is the choice for players such as Tony Finau and  the ULTIMATE 17 proves to be a great option for players who prefer an arm lock putting style. The unique part about the ULTIMATE 17 is the multiple orientations in which is can be installed. For arm lock putters the flat front and rounded sides make it a very comfortable putting experience when oriented to rest against the lead forearm. For players who prefer a traditional, claw or saw style grip the ULTIMATE 17, with it’s flow balanced design, once again proves to be suitable option for obtaining the counterbalanced feel.

Regardless of your putting style, grip profile or texture preference, Garsen Golf has several options that deliver the counter balanced experience in a more stabile, more dependable flow balanced design.
